IRON ET CETERA
DENVER, CO
January 27, 2007
ITCW

Iron Et Cetera
et cetera (adv)
Synonyms: and so on, and so forth, and that, and all that, and the like, etc., and the rest
Sculptors from California, Georgia, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Wyoming are exhibiting
their work at Ironton Studios and Gallery in an invitational group show entitled Iron Et Cetera curated by Mark Guilbeau and
Rian Kerrane. The exhibiting artists are Angelo Arnold, Jeffery Becker, Hopi Breton, Mike Brohman, Jim Buonaccorsi, Ashley
Hope Carlisle, Viviane Le Courtois, Rachel Tai Davis, Tobias Flores, Mark Guilbeau, Conor Hollis, David Lawrence Jones, Rian
Kerrane, David Lobdell, Shereen Lobdell, Benigno Lopez, LeeAnn Mitchell, Sean Pace, Craig Robb, Diane Rodriguez, and David
Seiler. These artists are active in the casting circuit, professional and academic fields. Casting iron is the common thread
between these artists. The vision of Iron Et Cetera is to illuminate the casting process through the exhibition of artwork
exploring the ancient process of bronze casting, industrial age iron casting, modern day synthetics and experimental mixed
media exploration. On Saturday, January 27, 2007 many of these participating artists will be conducting an iron casting performance
at the location of Ironton Studios and Gallery. The evening's events will climax with a grand finale iron pour and mechanical
sculpture performance. This is a public and ITCW event-everyone is invited.
